Take a look and see what 2019 was like at Droptica.  The year 2019 was busy and challenging, and we definitely believe that it was a success.

We had the pleasure to take part in one of the largest industry conferences for developers – PHPCon Poland 2019 – as its Platinum Sponsor. With 543 participants, we can say that the conference was pretty popular, and once again, the event has made a very good impression on us. The SCRUM project management framework is very popular in the IT industry.  At our Drupal development agency, we decided to implement SCRUM as a basic tool for working with our clients a while ago. In a year or so, the stable release of Drupal 9 will finally be made available to everyone. The previous release – Drupal 8 – was published in 2015 and it caused a lot of controversy among its users, mainly due to the complicated update path resulting from the rather significant differences compared to Drupal 7.

What’s the matter? To date, our Drupal development agency, has organised two kinds of events for people working with Drupal: DrupalCamp and DrupalDay. September this year will be marked with a new kind of event – an Unconference. What is this Unconference? Unconference is a meeting with a more relaxed structure than a conference, without an agenda planned in advance. All that we know is the venue, date and general subject matter; in this case Drupal.

We spend a lot of time at work – according to the OECD, it’s more than 1,800 hours a year! Knowing that you spend as much time at work as in your bed, you should make sure that your workplace is comfortable and characterised by a friendly atmosphere.
