Droptica is a software development company specialising in creating websites based on Drupal, Symfony and React.

Since 2013, we have been developing our company in order to serve our customers and clients in the best possible way. See what we have achieved during this time!

Droptica is a group of 27 experts in various fields working in offices located in the fastest-growing Polish cities.

We are happy to establish permanent relations and get involved in our clients’ projects – from start-ups to complex websites. We provide only efficient, scalable, and expandable solutions. We systematically improve our work, thanks to which we can enjoy the trust of our clients.

Additionally, we carry out intensive promotional activities. We are the main organizers of DevTalks and Drupal Camp Poland as well as the founders of Drupal Polska, which allows us to freely exchange experiences and learn from the best.

Our constant striving for perfection has been appreciated by:

  • Clutch.co, which awarded us the Top Drupal Development Firm 2016, Top Developers 2017 and Top B2B Companies 2017 awards
  • Institute of Industrial Design, who let us into the finals of the Dobry Wzór 2018 (Good Design 2018) competition.

DrupalCamp London 2019 is approaching fast. Are you ready for another great time with Drupal? This year, 42 sessions on Drupal and related topics are scheduled. This is a really tasty bit for any Drupal developer who can come. We hope, that with our help, you will choose the most promising lectures. Below are a few sessions you should definitely visit.

The new year brings summaries and resolutions. It was a special time at Droptica. There has been a lot going on in the company and we are proud of what we did in 2018. We want to share it with you! :) Five years of Droptica In February, we celebrated the company's fifth anniversary. We had every reason to celebrate!  Within 5 years, starting from a two-person project, Droptica has become a dynamically operating company and a well-known Drupal agency.

At the last DrupalCon in Nashville, you could hear a lot of interesting lectures. I have chosen ten lectures for you, which I consider to be one of the most interesting. You can find the entire playlist of DrupalCon lectures at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpeDXSh4nHjRRbzQW5D6PQVFPrTuh5y8m Below are some of the lectures you cannot miss. 1. Weather.com’s Project Moonracer – Decoupled User Interfaces This session will show you how the Weather.com team manages content.

DrupalEurope is this year’s largest European conference devoted to Drupal. In previous years, each edition of the conference (formerly known as DrupalCon) was attended by about 2000 participants. We already know the programme of the conference with 162 hours of lectures over the course of three days! Because I run a Drupal agency myself, the conference is super exciting for me. I decided to go through the programme and make a list of 13 lectures that I think are worth seeing. 1.

Since July 2018, our branch in Rzeszow is located in the new office. We've been looking for a comfortable and modern place for a long time. After a few weeks of research, we've found an ideal place - the SKYRES office building. Access and parking lot We wanted to choose an office with easy access to each point of the city and to the highway.  A space in the parking lot was also important to us.

At Droptica, remote work is something ordinary. From the very first day, we had two offices in Wrocław and Gdańsk. Recently, we also opened our third office in Rzeszów. Every day, developers, testers, graphic designers and other specialists work together in each of these locations. In addition, 90% of our clients come from abroad, like in the case of most software houses. Throughout several years, we have developed methods of effective and efficient cooperation in a dispersed team.

We recently wrote about  why SCRUM improves software development quality and why remote scrum teams are often a good choice.  Today we will discuss a very important part of scrum which is often neglected, what leads to reduced preformance, delays and mistakes - Sprint Retrospective.  What is Sprint Retrospective? This is one of the meetings in the SCRUM methodology. The meeting takes place on a regular basis, at the end of each sprint.

At Droptica, we have been regularly recruiting PHP developers for quite some time now. We often get asked what exactly does one have to know in order to join our team, mostly by people who are starting their careers as developers or who want to switch jobs or even industries.  The extent of “PHP development” knowledge is vast and our expectations regarding our candidates may not be obvious for some.

This year, Droptica turns 5! Many things in the company have changed during this time. We want to reflect these changes in the form of a new logo and describe our rebranding process. Our new logo represents who we are and who we want to be more accurate. Image change is part of our continuous development. The New Droptica The new visual identification system of Droptica is a revolutionary change. New logo. New colours.
